This box is part of the graphic pieces of Publifósforos designed by Cruz Novillo. The curious thing about this design is that I can't find any similar reference, nor has it been easy to trace like the boxes with themes of hot air balloons such as Globos 1783.

From this piece, I see that it is signed by Cruz Novillo + Olmos and I discover that it is another graphic designer associated with this illustrator named Fernando Olmos. They work together on projects for the matchboxes of Fósforos del Pirineo among other works. I suppose this belongs to one of those creative works but I haven't found any digital trace where that pattern appears. And apparently they worked together until 1974 so I suspect that will be the box's maximum "age".
